Stephanie is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with extensive experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. She specializes in working with medically complex children, including those with neurological conditions, tracheostomies, and rare genetic disorders. Her expertise extends to helping families identify structural challenges impacting speech and feeding, with a focus on children with Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.
With a background in both pediatrics and geriatrics, Stephanie began her career in adult rehabilitation, focusing on swallowing, oral dysfunction, and cognitive rehabilitation before transitioning to pediatric feeding and swallowing therapy. She has completed over 300 hours of specialized training in feeding, swallowing, oral placement therapy, and AAC.
Her passion for this field is deeply personal—her younger siblings are both Autistic, and her brother is an AAC user. Additionally, her own son’s experiences with a tongue tie, hearing loss, and a laryngeal cleft introduced her to Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs), further shaping her commitment to helping children overcome feeding and communication challenges.
Stephanie is committed to empowering families with practical strategies and compassionate support to help children achieve their full potential.
